Ms. Smith (Mirek-6th Period)

Heroes don't necessarily need powers to make a change in somebody's life. Ms.Smith made many changes in lives. Watching kids grow up was her motivation to become a teacher and make a difference in her community. Ms.Smith attends Morrill Elementary school and works as a kindergarten teacher in Morrill Elementary school for two years.

Ms.Smith's reason for her job is helping out the kids. Ms.Smith always has her door open to kids if they ever need her. She tries to notice the little things in them. She stated, "The kids come in sometimes they have a bad attitude, or I'll notice someone has new gym shoes. I will say, 'Joshua I like your new gym shoes,' and they would be so happy." The little things she does or notices makes them feel better about themselves.

Ms.Smith does not consider herself a hero since she is just helping the community by making it better. She stated, " We are patrolling the streets to make sure that the kids get to school safely." Ms. Smith makes sure the kids are safe for a better environment. She thinks she is not a hero since all she wants to do is make the community better.
Ms. Smith, keeping her community safe.

Although Ms.Smith does not consider herself a hero, some people in the community see her as a hero because of her determination to make a change in her community. During the interview, she stated, "If I see a problem I try to handle it or pick up the phone and call 911. The children will come to me and let me know if somebody is fighting I try to call 911." Ms.Smith does anything or make a change for their community. Her definition for hero is someone that will do anything or make a change for their community. In our opinion, and some people in the community , we consider Ms.Smith a hero for her dedication towards the community.
